Roaming Spirit Yoga Retreats offer friendly, inclusive retreats designed to support your well-being through yoga, nature and connection. Each retreat creates time and space to slow down, rest, and gently check in with yourself, supported by shared practice and community.
Our retreats take place in carefully chosen natural settings across the UK and Europe. From peaceful countryside and woodland locations to coastal and mountain landscapes, each venue is selected for its beauty, tranquillity and ability to support rest, reflection and renewal.
Surrounded by nature, you’ll have the opportunity to step away from everyday life, move gently through yoga, enjoy time outdoors, and reconnect — with yourself, with others, and with the natural world.
Roaming Spirit Yoga Retreats has been offering yoga retreats since 2013. Originally founded as Tranquillité Retreats in France, the retreats evolved following personal changes that felt like a fresh beginning. Roaming Spirit Yoga Retreats reflects a renewed focus on yoga, nature and self-care practices.
Bringing people together on retreat has always been at the heart of this work. These shared experiences offer the opportunity to rest, reflect, reconnect and explore practices that support both physical and emotional well-being.

About Your Host

Hello, I’m Maria.

I’ve been practising yoga for many years and it has had a profoundly positive impact on my life. I’m passionate about sharing yoga in an accessible, supportive and down-to-earth way. Alongside yoga, I feel most at home outdoors. I love hiking, climbing and paddle boarding, and growing up on a farm nurtured a deep connection to the natural world. I find being in nature incredibly healing and, much like yoga, I’m keen to encourage others to experience its therapeutic benefits.
Sharing time outdoors as a group feels especially meaningful — it connects us to one another and back to the earth. I bring this love of yoga, nature and community into each retreat, offering you the opportunity to experience their benefits together.

What to Expect

Our retreats are open to all levels of yoga experience, with each session thoughtfully guided and offering options and modifications to support your individual practice.
Activities and experiences may vary depending on the retreat location, but each one is carefully designed to help you slow down, reconnect, and immerse yourself in your surroundings. From guided walks in nature and wellness experiences to moments of rest and exploration, there is always flexibility throughout your stay — allowing you to participate as much or as little as you wish.
All activities are entirely optional, giving you the freedom to shape your days in a way that feels right for you. Whether you choose to join the group, explore independently, or simply rest and recharge, this is your time.
